Welcome to this place; a sanctuary of peace, renewal, reverence, and serenity in a quiet garden.
In times of stress and uncertainty, having a place of peace, serenity, and reverence in the Presence Of God among the trees can be a prescription for renewal. So while the doors of the church sanctuary remains closed during the Covid-19 lock down the Outdoor Chapel remains open for solitude, meditation, and renewal. This view from the back of the outdoor chapel offers a view of The Cross in memory of the Crucifixion of Our Savior Jesus Christ and the two thieves who hung beside Him.
When the doors of the church reopens we will return to our usual two times of worship on Sunday Morning: 8:45 in the outdoor chapel and 10:30 inside the church sanctuary. The 8:45 Church in The Garden service is a shorter service with Communion. The service generally last approximately 40 minutes. After the service some members retire to the Kelsey Building Library in time for Refreshments and participation in the popular Prime Time Adult Discussion Group at 9:30.
If at any time you find yourself in need for privacy, peace, and quiet serenity, and feeling the presence of God in an open setting among the trees the outdoor chapel, home of our Church In the Garden, may be what you're looking for. Come in. Select any seat that attracts you. And enjoy the peaceful serenity of God's presence in the garden.
