It is evident that life may be different after the Covid-19 pandemic. The congregation of Christ Congregational Church acknowledges that early on there may be changes in our church life. But the Coronavirus lock down has also shown is that we don't have to share the same space in the church sanctuary to worship God and commune in fellowship.
The time we share in the Kelsey Building before service, during service in the sanctuary, and sharing refreshment after service in the Kelsey Building is an important part of communal fellowship for many of our members. For others, communal worship is enough and except for special celebrations, before service and after service for communal "refreshment" isn't always high on their list.
Live streaming our church service during the Coronavirus pandemic lock down has given us the value of communal fellowship absent our bodily presence in the sanctuary. We have considered that non-members who joined us via this link to our Video Worship Service during the corona virus pandemic may want to continue doing so after the lock down has ended. We welcome these Virtual Members.
When we able to again worship in the sanctuary we will continue to provide access to the live streaming video worship service. Even if you aren't able to join us live at 10:30, you can still experience service on our live streaming link after service has ended.
We pray and trust that you are safe and practicing safe social distancing during these trying times.
We also pray and trust that if you live in Palmetto Bay,Cutler Bay, Pinecrest, Kendall, Perrine, Homestead, South Miami, or anywhere in Miami, after the pandemic lock down is over you might consider a visit to our sanctuary at 14920 SW 67 Avenue, Palmetto Bay Florida to join us in our sanctuary for real time communal fellowship.
Otherwise, we always welcome you to the live streaming of our video worship service.
I have always said that Christ Congregational church is a hidden gem in Palmetto Bay :-)
Blessings!
